Perry & Associates CPAs Timeline
- 1974
- Founded in 1974, Perry & Associates CPAs began as a single person’s vision and steadily became one of the most respected accounting firms in the country.
- 1983
- In 1983, Perry & Associates CPAs expanded our auditing practice to include the areas of governmental and non-profit auditing.
- 1991
- In 1991, our auditing services branched out to also include for-profit entities, and management service consulting was added to our extensive list of services.
- 2011
- Completed merger with James F. Kacsmar, CPA in St. Clairsville, Ohio
- 2012
- Jodey Altier officially became partner at Perry & Associates CPAs.
- 2015
- Jodey Altier officially took over leadership and ownership of Perry & Associates CPAs.
- 2015
- Perry & Associates added forensic services.
- 2017
- Acquired the accounting firm Obecny and Company.
- 2017
- Officially moved into current Marietta location.
- 2019
- In 2019, due to the increasing need for our clients to be supported in their use of bookkeeping and other business software, we added the information systems service line.
- 2019
- Perry & Associates opened Cambridge OH location.
- 2020
- Acquired Beth A. Glass CPA firm.
- 2020
- Perry & Associates added Client Accounting Services (CAS).
Our Locations
We currently have five offices in the Ohio Valley, located in Marietta, Ohio; Vienna, West Virginia; St. Clairsville, Ohio; Wheeling West Virginia; and Cambridge, Ohio. We are deeply committed to serving and giving back to the communities in which we work in and live.
